Important Information
Supervision & Safety
The lab equipment is available to students, faculty, and staff who have received appropriate training and are working under the supervision of the lab staff.
Please be aware that with heating materials and creating dust on saws and sanders, that particulate matter and off gassing are risks associated with lab use. Masks will be provided for anyone wishing to take precautions against airborne risks.
Additionally, wipe down your working bench and tools before and after use, as well as your hands to prevent dust from collecting in the lab and leaving the lab.

The Digital Fabrication Lab is located in Room P218 & P213 on the second floor of the Port Campus.
Using the Laser Cutter
UPDATED Feb 2023. For using the Laser Cutter, please follow this guide to prepare your file prior to the start of any Laser Cutting Session. This information will also be available on the Fabrication Lab's Brightspace page.
